Pennyroyal Hospice To Paint The Town Purple For Alzheimer’s And Dementia Awareness

For the rest of the month, Pennyroyal Hospice will “paint the town purple” for Alzheimer’s and dementia awareness.

From now until May 30, in preparation for the City of Elkton’s annual Bike Night, Pennyroyal Hospice will be sharing information, awareness and resources for families about Alzheimer’s and dementia as they display large purple bows around town.

Pennyroyal Hospice thanks Darlene Groves from Something Special for her generous donation of purple bows, and thanks Elkton Mayor Arthur Green and the City of Elkton for allowing them to increase awareness of these diseases.

Pennyroyal Hospice will have more to come for their annual Alzheimer’s Walk, including a boxed lunch fundraiser Friday, June 5.
