Mr. Darrell Moore, age 89 of Elkton, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Creekwood Nursing and Rehab in Russellville.
Services for Mr. Darrell will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Latham Funeral Home with Rev. Melvin Byler and Rev. Bradley Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Heltsley Cemetery in Clifty. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday and after 10:00 a.m. Tuesday until time for the service at Latham Funeral Home.
Mr. Darrell was born July 6, 1936, in Todd Co., KY. He was the owner and operator of Moore's Collision Service in Elkton for 22 years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, member of Masonic Lodge #71, American Legion and attended Tabernacle Church. He loved to watch UK Basketball. He was preceded in death by his father, Ira Moore, his mother, Lillie McElwain Moore, his stepmother, Lucille McGehee Moore, his wife, Rayola Petrie Moore, his brothers, Kenneth Moore and James Cleo Moore.
Survivors include his daughters, Cheryl Goodwin and her husband Stewart of Elkton, and Kelly Day and her husband Chris of Bowling Green, his sister, Christine Allen of Russellville, his grandchildren, Logan (Amber) Hurt, Stephen (Reilly) Day, Mason (Alex) Day, Kate (Tristan) Stokes and John Goodwin, 11 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.
