Mr. Raymond J. Schlabach, age 96 of Guthrie, KY, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2026, at 6:35 p.m. at his residence. Services will be on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the South District Amish Church with Bishop Marvin Kanagy officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at the church from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. ant 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Schlabach was born in Holmes County, Ohio January 3, 1930. He was a farmer and a member of the Pinecraft Amish Church in Sarasota, FL. He is preceded in death by his parents, John Schlabach and Mary Miller Schlabach, 4 brothers, and 2 sisters.
He is survived by his wife Emma Mast Schlabach, 2 sons Stanley Schlabach and his wife Arlene of Monticello, KY, and Abe Schlabach and his wife Betty of Russellville, KY, his daughters Betty Schlabach and her husband Leroy of Guthrie, KY, Mary Miller and her husband Merlin of Morrison, TN, and Mabel Yoder and her husband Raymond of Cynthiana, KY, 29 Grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
