The Todd County Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Aldon Benton.
Mr. Aldon Benton, age 77 of Guthrie, passed away on Monday, July 14th at Hearthstone Place in Elkton.
Aldon was born September 22, 1947, in Clarksville, Tennessee, the son of the late Robert Eugene and Eva Bell O’Bryan Benton.
He was a Baptist by faith. He enjoyed fishing, shooting guns, and watching tractor pulls.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Benton; two brothers, Robert and Rabourn Benton; and a nephew, Adam Benton. He is survived by his companion, Linda Williams of Guthrie; two nieces, Amanda Davis of Trenton and Alesha Benton of Hopkinsville; and two nephews, Richard Benton (Lynn) of Kirkmansville and Randy Benton (Stacy) of Guthrie.
Visitation with the Benton family will be on Friday, July 18th, from 11:00 until funeral service time at 1:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Chapman officiating. Interment will follow at Edgewood Cemetery in Trenton.
