Todd County will start seeing returns on some energy savings projects now that they are complete. That is according to Certified Energy Manager, Ryan Baker. Baker told Fiscal Court they have already received rebate funds.
He says the federal tax credit paperwork is in process.
Baker says his company, Ascendant Facility Partners, will continue to monitor the energy returns and report to Fiscal Court quarterly.
In other business, Emergency Management Director, Ash Groves asked Magistrates to pursue the purchase of a grain bin rescue apparatus. He says many local first responders attended a training recently at the Extension Office.
Groves also asked the Court to approved testing the tornado sirens on the first Saturday every month at noon to be complient with state requirements. Both retuests were approved.
