Mt. Zion CME Church in Guthrie is hosting a BBQ Sale and Fish Fry Friday, June 27.
Folks can come by the church as early as 9:30 a.m. for some homemade BBQ. Sponsored by Mt. Zion Youth, the church fundraiser will sell a wide array of homemade food, including BBQ chicken, catfish, baked beans, coleslaw, potato salad, white beans and more.
The BBQ will be made by Bell Family BBQ, a local Todd County family who makes BBQ sauce for Billy Goat Hill in Elkton.
Sandwiches are $8 and all plates are $12, which includes one meat, two vegetable sides and bread.
BBQ is also available at $10 a pound as well as a whole chicken for $12. Desserts will be $2.
Individuals are also welcome to make call-in orders by calling the church at 270-265-5755.
Mt. Zion CME Church is located on Guthrie Road just past South Todd Elementary School.
