Trunk Or Treat, Trick Or Treat And More Halloween Events In Elkton This Week

There are a few Halloween events coming up in Elkton this week.

Monday, Oct. 28, Todd County’s community Trunk or Treat event will be held in the TCCHS parking lot from 5:30 – 7 p.m.

Various food trucks will be on site as well as the district’s Family Resource and Youth Services Center, who will be serving cookies for students. The event is sponsored by the Todd County Central Student Council and Todd County Preschool.

After an evening of Trunk or Treating, students can come inside to the school’s auditorium to hear the high school, seventh and eighth grade bands perform in their Halloween concert, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Thursday, Oct. 31 is Elkton’s city-wide Trick or Treating. The City of Elkton asks trick or treaters to have their costumes and candy bags ready for a night of Halloween fun, but above all, to be safe. The Elkton Police Department will be handing out free glow sticks throughout the evening. Trick or Treating will take place from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Outside Elkton, HauntedPembroke’s Dark Circus continues with its final weekend Friday, Nov. 1 and Saturday, Nov. 2 – a blackout show from 7-11 p.m. at the Trenton Schoolhouse each night. All the lights in the haunted house will be turned off and each group will enter only with a small UV flashlight.

Have a fun and safe Halloween from your friends at WEKT!
