Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is available for Todd County children from ages zero to five through the Todd County Library.
Todd County Library Director Audrea Clairmont says any child under five years of age can be signed up for the program and receive a brand-new, carefully selected book every month.
The program is completely free and books are mailed directly to the family’s home. Clairmont adds all books are approved by a committee through Parton’s program.
The City of Elkton originally established an Imagination Library solely for city residents in 2020, but was later expanded to all Todd County residents and is now administered through the Todd County Library.
Clairmont adds she would love to see more families in the county sign up for the program.
Families can register online through the Todd County Library’s website or in-person.
