Funeral services for 84-year-old Billy Joe Majors, of Allegre, will be 1 PM Friday at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton.
Burial will follow in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Todd County.
Visitation will be from 11 AM until the funeral hour.
Survivors include:
His wife, Pirvie Majors, of Allegre;
Two daughters, Virginia Ann Majors, of Allegre, and Beaverly Pirvie Petersen (Robin), of Overgaard, Arizona;
Two brothers, Freddy Majors, of Greenville, and Larry Majors, of Rochester;
And two grandchildren Crystal Joyce Petersen and Rebecca ‘Becky’ Kay Petersen.
Rev. Mike Dorsey is officiating. Services will be live streamed at lathamfuneralhome.com.
Majors was born October 16, 1939, in Muhlenberg County. He was an instrument tech for Southwest Forest Industrial Paper Mill in Snowflake, Arizona.
He was a member of Trenton Assembly of God where he played guitar for the church Praise and Worship Team. He is preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Lavern Majors, his brothers William “Mutt”, Harold, Bobby Douglas, Clifford, Paul “Pee Wee” and Charles Majors.
