The Todd County School District is celebrating School Board Recognition and Appreciation Month during January.
Superintendent Mark Thomas says the district recently held a school board meeting where Todd County Judge-Executive Todd Mansfield provided a proclamation and recognized board members and their contribution to the community and school district. The board members also received a token of appreciation from the district’s staff and students.
Thomas offers his thanks to the school board and says he is very appreciative of the board’s focus on the best interest of Todd County students.
He adds he is also very appreciative of everything the board does on a daily basis, pushing forward student achievement by providing guidance and support for the district’s students and staff.
