John E. Walton will be recognized posthumously with the 2023 Bryan W. Blount Citizen of the Year Award in remembrance of his lifetime of service to the betterment of Todd County.
Nominations were open to Todd County Chamber members during the month of September. Multiple nominations were received by the Awards Committee in each of 9 categories for a total of over 50 nominations. Based on the information that was submitted by Chamber members, the committee chose 3 finalists in each category.
Winners will be announced at the Awards Dinner on Nov 11. The Chamber will also present 4 additional recognitions for individuals’ work within the Chamber, for a total of 13 awards to be presented at the event.
