April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, and the Todd County Health Department is putting together an awareness event Saturday, April 11.
The Todd County Axis Program, a pilot program formed through the health department, invites the community to “spin their wheels” for prevention Saturday morning at the Elkton-Todd County park.
From 9-11 a.m., the community is invited to bring their children and bikes, scooters or other wheels for a parade around the park. They’ll also have the opportunity to visit booths, collect resources and learn all about community agencies and organizations offering family services in the county.
