
Todd County Schools has announced that it is accepting sealed bids for the maintenance of its athletic fields. Submissions opened on March 17th and will close on March 25th at 10:00 AM. All bids will be opened shortly after at 10:15 AM that same day.
Bids must be submitted to the Todd County School Board Office, located at 205 Airport Road in Elkton, Kentucky. The district stated in a press release that all proposals must follow Kentucky Revised Statutes (KRS 45A) as well as established Request for Proposals (RFP) guidelines.
The project includes a year-round maintenance of all game and practice fields, which will cover weed prevention, fertilization, soil management, irrigation, and regular mowing to ensure the fields remain in good condition.
Contractors are encouraged to submit their proposals in sealed envelopes addressed to the Todd County Board of Education office, attention Mike Smith. Final decisions on the bids will be reviewed and recommended to the school board during its scheduled work session in April.
