The spirit of service was on full display last week as the Rotary Club of Elkton hosted its annual Rotary Speech Contest at Todd County Central High School.
Ten talented students took to the auditorium stage to deliver compelling original speeches centered on how serving others creates lasting happiness. Aleycia Osborne claimed first place for her standout performance and will advance to represent the community at the Regional Rotary Speech Contest next month. Za’Miah King took home second place, while Anna Mallory earned the third-place spot.

School officials praised all ten participants—Memphis Bell, Madison Shemwell, Chloe Collins, Lucas Stratton, Aleycia Osborne, Levi Latham, Allyssa Wofford, Anna Mallory, Za’Miah King, and Jalaya Williamson—for their hard work and for representing TCCHS with such distinction.
