Looking to continue the projects he has helped manage, Elkton Mayor Arthur Green is seeking a third term in office this November.

Green told Your WEKT News Edge that he is not ready to settle down just yet.

Green added that Elkton has seen some positive changes and moderate growth during his nearly eight-year tenure in office.

Throughout his second term, Green is most proud of recent improvement projects the city has taken on, such as improved sidewalks, upgrades to fire department equipment, and sewer upgrades.

As for challenges for the next term, if elected, Green said he would continue to face them and do what he thinks is best for the city.

Mayor Green is currently unopposed for the November General Election. Potential candidates have until Tuesday, June 2nd, to file for mayoral, city council, and other nonpartisan offices in the Commonwealth.
