Army investigators are seeking the public’s help and offering a $5,000 reward following a high-tech theft at Fort Campbell.
According to a social media post on the U.S. Army Fort Campbell Facebook page, the Department of the Army Criminal Investigation Division reported that four Skydio X-10-D Drone Systems were stolen from the installation in November. These AI-powered drones were last seen on the morning of November 21st at the 326th Division Engineer Battalion.
Investigators believe unknown suspects gained access to the building sometime over the following weekend to take the equipment. To aid the search, C-I-D has released the serial numbers of the missing units and is seeking any credible information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
Each drone is valued at between $28,000 and $100,000, depending on payload and software.
If you have any information, please contact the Fort Campbell CID.
