
The Pennyrile Area Homemaker Spring Seminar and Cultural Arts Contest will be held Friday, March 27 in Hopkinsville.
“Styling with a Purpose: Confidence through Clothing, Sustainability, and Healthy Living,” is the theme of this year’s seminar, which will include topics on sustainability in clothing, healthy living and a mindful wardrobe. Anyone is welcome to attend, not just Homemaker members.
Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. and programs will begin at 10:00 a.m. Lunch will be included for participants. Registration for the seminar is $18, due to the Todd County Extension Office by Friday, March 13.
In conjunction with the seminar, UK Cooperative Extension is also hosting a Cultural Arts Contest. Individuals who would like to enter their handmade crafts or would like more information should call the Extension Office at 270-265-5659. Cultural Arts check-in for Todd County is 9:00 a.m. Judging will be complete by 12:15 p.m. and viewing will be available until 1:00 p.m.
Both events will be held at the Christian County Extension Expo Center at 2850 Pembroke Road in Hopkinsville, located behind Christian County’s Extension Office.
