Mrs. Evelyn Aliene Knight, age 80 of the Pea Ridge Community, passed away at 8:37 p.m., Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, KY.
Services for Mrs. Evelyn will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Latham Funeral Home with Rev. Fred Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in the Pea Ridge Cemetery. Visitation for Mrs. Evelyn will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Wednesday until the time for the service at Latham Funeral Home.
Mrs. Evelyn was born June 28, 1945, in Todd Co., KY. She loved to take care of her home and her family. She had been a babysitter for many kids in the community. Mrs. Evelyn loved to raise chickens. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Warner and Mamie Elizabeth Self Hadden; her husband, James Timothy Knight; her brother, James Arthur Hadden; and her sister, Nancy Iola Hadden.
Survivors include her son, Timmy Knight, and his wife Donna of Elkton, her daughter, Marilyn Knight of Pea Ridge Community, her sister, Pat Harris, and her husband Paul of Elkton, her grandson, Wesley Jones of Elkton, and several nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
