Elkton Mayor Arthur Green recently signed a proclamation designating February 21 – 28, 2026 as FFA Week for the city.
2026 marks 50 years of FFA’s “Tractor Day,” a longstanding tradition in FFA Week, which celebrates the organization’s members, advisors, alumni, sponsors and staff and their dedication to developing leaders in the ag industry.
Green, a former FFA advisor, writes the FFA motto, “learning to do, doing to learn, earning to live, living to serve,” gives direction of purpose to those who take an active role in ag education. Green commends those involved in the organization and salutes the Todd Central FFA Chapter.
The Todd County Chamber of Commerce will be involved with the promotion of Elkton’s FFA Week, and activities will be announced at a later date.
