Todd County Extension Office Launches 2026 Cooking Calendar And Program

The Todd County Extension Office is releasing a free calendar and cooking program for the new year.

Extension Agent Jill Harris says “Cooking Thru the Calendar” is a free recipe calendar published by the Nutrition Education program at the University of Kentucky’s Cooperative Extension Service. The calendar will feature a new recipe every month.

Going along with the calendar, the first Thursday of each month will feature a cooking show via Facebook Live on the Todd County Extension Office’s page, where Harris will demonstrate how to make the meal of the month. January’s program was last week with a recipe for white chicken chili.

February’s “Cooking Thru the Calendar” program will stream Thursday, Feb. 5 at 11:30 a.m., where Harris will demonstrate the next meal of the month, potsticker meatloaf.

To keep up with the year’s recipes, Harris says anyone is invited to pick up a calendar at the extension office, located at 240 Pond River Road in Elkton.
