Sanctuary, Inc, a Hopkinsville based domestic violence shelter, participates in a fundraiser each year called shop and share. Community members buy and then donate items like non-perishable foods, diapers, and other necessities to support domestic violence victims.
Volunteer Coordinator Anna Daniel said the fundraiser began due in part to the work of one Kentucky lady.
