Two Todd County Central High School band students were selected to perform in the 2026 Kentucky Music Educators Association (KMEA) All-State Band.
Jeremy Tomlinson and Haley Orberson were both selected to play in the flute section of the All-State Symphonic Band, with Tomlinson as third chair flute and Orberson as fifth chair. Only a select few students are chosen for All-State ensembles each year from each school, with hundreds of students musicians around the Commonwealth who audition.
The students will travel to Louisville, Kentucky in February 2026 for rehearsals with the other all-state musicians, culminating in a performance at the Kentucky Center for the Arts in downtown Louisville.
Todd County Bands say they are proud to recognize the outstanding achievement of the selected students, an honor that reflects their exceptional musical talent, dedication and commitment to excellence. The organization adds that representing TCCHS at the state level is a significant accomplishment, and they commend Tomlinson and Orberson for their hard work and perseverance.
