Although Thanksgiving Break is approaching for the Todd County School District this week, Todd County Central High School has a busy couple of days before students head home.
Monday, Nov. 24 will see a special guest speaker at the school, TCCHS alumni and First Lieutenant Alli Kearns, who will speak about her experience with the Air Force Academy and U.S. Military. Additionally, Todd Central seniors will complete Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) testing, a standardized test to explore career paths and determine military eligibility and potential qualifications.
Finally, Monday will end with the school’s Beta Club’s Beta Buddies Night from 4-7 p.m. to celebrate Thanksgiving.
Tuesday, Nov. 25 celebrates Club Week, as well as being an early release day for students. The district will not have school Wednesday-Friday for Thanksgiving Break, and students will return to campus Monday, Dec. 1.
