North Todd Elementary School students will hold a special musical performance Thursday, Nov. 20.
This week, North Todd’s second and third grade students will present “Freedom: A Musical Celebration of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.” The piece, written by musician and children’s composer Teresa Jennings, is a musical revue, combining music, dance and skits into one half-hour performance.
“Freedom” features five pieces about what freedom really means, including songs such as “Knowledge is Power,” “Why Can’t They Be Free?” and “Choices.”
North Todd invites everyone in the community to the free concert, held in the gymnasium from 5:30-6 p.m.
