A Todd County Central High School junior was awarded the 2025 Junior Street Trophy for drag racing at Beech Bend Raceway in Bowling Green, Kentucky at the start of this month.
TCCHS student Hixie Miller, daughter of Todd Countians David and Tammy Miller, had impressive performances all throughout the 2025 racing season at Beech Bend, consistently placing at the top for several elimination rounds.
Miller won all rounds in the raceway’s penultimate event in October, putting her in the lead for total season points. On the last race of the season November 1, Miller faced eight other racers in a tight competition. She won all four passes in the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) sanctioned Junior Street Trophy class, as well as being announced the Junior Street Trophy class points winner for this year’s racing season.
Beech Bend plans to hold a banquet to recognize the winners of each class and present them with cash and additional prizes.
