A crash on Jones Road in Todd County sent five children and two adults to the hospital Saturday night.
Todd County Sheriff’s deputies say at 7:39 pm, a tractor driven by 68-year-old Edward Alder was coming down a hill pulling a trailer with 31-year-old Cady Alder, 36-year-old John Power, 12-year-old Addison Power, 4-year-old Nolan Rice, 5-year-old Hadley Rice, 9-year-old Ally Power, and 8-year-old John Power on the trailer.
Edward Alder reportedly lost control when the tractor jumped out of gear, causing it to slide down the embankment, throwing all the passengers off the trailer.
Ambulances from Todd, Logan, Montgomery, and Christian counties were all called and transported patients to Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville.
Deputies say only one of the adults, Cady Alder, suffered serious injuries. Deputies were assisted by Allegre Fire Department and Todd County Rescue.
