A field fire on Arthur Henderson Road in Todd County burnt about an acre of a harvested cornfield on Friday afternoon.
Allegre Fire Department Chief Steven Weaver says they helped the Fairview Fire Department quickly extinguish the fire that is believed to have started with a hay mower.
Elkton Fire Department was also called to help extinguish the fire.
