Todd Countians should mark their calendars for Tuesday, Oct. 21 for a one-day opportunity for free mammograms.
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Blount Rural Health Center is partnering with health insurance company UnitedHealthcare to provide completely free mammograms for women 40 years and older.
This opportunity will only be available Tuesday, Oct. 21 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., and due to limited availability, first priority will be given to uninsured individuals. The health center still encourages anyone who has insurance to call for availability.
