The Todd County Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Kathy Sue Smart.
Mrs. Kathy Smart, age 72 of Elkton, passed away on Tuesday, June 3rd at the Hearthstone Place in Elkton.
Kathy was born September 20, 1952 in Greenville, Kentucky daughter of the late V.W. Latham and Bonnie Sue Strader.
She was a member of the Stokes Chapel Church. She loved her family and enjoyed quilting, crocheting, coloring and doing crossword puzzles.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Smart; a brother, Duane King and two sisters, Gail McEnearney and Cindy Perez. She is survived by a son, Jeff Tarkington of Elkton; a brother, Danny Latham of Chicago, Illinois and a sister, Karen Latham of Chicago, Illinois.
Visitation with the family will be on Monday, June 9th from 11:00 until funeral service time at 12:30 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Chapman officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville.
