Todd County will hold a waste tire collection event Friday, June 6 in Elkton.
Tires on or off the rim will be accepted from the following vehicles: trucks, light trucks, passengers, implements, lawn tractors, bicycles, motorcycles, golf carts, etc. Todd Countians are limited to 10 car tires, four truck tires and two tractor tires per person.
There are a few different types of tires that will not be accepted, including foam-filled, calcium-filled, off road construction tires (OTC), rubber tracks, solid tires with and without press on rim and tires with a bead over 1.5 inches.
Tire retailers, scrap yards, salvage yards and recycling businesses are strictly prohibited from attending.
The collection event will be held from 7 a.m. to noon at 411 Streets Ave. in Elkton
