
Shortly after confirming an EF-2 tornado with maximum wind speeds of 120 MPH in northern Todd County, the National Weather Service in Paducah reported that Friday’s weather system unfolded as anticipated.
Warning Coordination Meteorologist Christine Wielgos told Your News Edge she was glad residents listened to the forecast.
As of Tuesday morning, ten tornadoes have been confirmed across the NWS Paducah 58-county service area, ranging from EF-1 to EF-4 in strength.
