As crews work to clean up damage Saturday in northern Todd County, emergency officials are working to collect food and water donations to help feed them.

Todd County Emergency Management Director Ash Groves told Your WEKT News Edge that donations are being accepted at the Allegre Volunteer Fire Department at 5712 Allegre Road.

A GiveSendGo account has been set up for the Newswanger family, as their house was destroyed in the storm. Click here to contribute.

Groves confirmed a home was destroyed on Blue Hole Road, as well as four chicken houses, where crews are working to save as many chickens as possible. Additional tree and power line damage was reported on Lewis Jones Road.

Crews are asking people to stay off Blue Hole Road as cleanup continues.

Groves added that trees and power lines were knocked down along Kentucky 181 South, and Simons Farms reported a grain bin was destroyed.
