Even though Todd County is still dealing with several flooded roads, emergency officials are preparing for the winter storm expected Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday morning.
Interim Emergency Management Director William Randolph told Your WEKT News Edge that all of the roads reported flooded on Saturday continue to have water over them. He added county crews will begin moving ‘Road Closed’ barriers, as soon as they recede.
Additionally, Randolph shared they are closely monitoring the next system that could dump an additional significant layer of snow.
Randolph added they will be evaluating the conditions to determine if a warming shelter is needed for area residents.
During the storm, if you need assistance, call the Todd County Dispatch non-emergency number at (270) 265-2501.
