
Retiring school bus driver Glenn Hughes was recognized Monday evening at the Todd County School Board meeting.
Superintendent Mark Thomas awarded Hughes with the district’s Making a Difference Award. Transportation Director Reda Reinhardt told the Board that Hughes has been driving a bus for the county’s students since 2010.
All students can now attend all home sporting events free of charge after the Board voted to approve the funding to cover the entry fees.
All elementary and middle school students can attend free of charge but must be accompanied by an adult.
Any tournaments held at Todd County Schools are excluded from the entry fee waiver.
Board members also approved the 2nd reading of a policy update to not permit the use of medicinal cannabis and the creation and funding of two teacher support specialist positions for the 2024-2025 school year.
