North Todd Elementary School kicked off Grandparents Day on Friday morning with an event, ‘Goodies with Grands,’ a time to soak in heartwarming moments shared between children and their grandparents.
Students and their grandparents shared conversations and laughter, along with muffins to tie the moment together.
At North Todd Elementary, FRYSC Coordinator Emily Smith says, “Having all layers of the family involved in the student’s education really supports their success and their growth.” This event brought dozens of students and their grandparents, creating a wonderful turnout for ‘Goodies with Grands.’
As the morning came to an end, grandparents left not only with goodies but with full hearts and memories they’ll cherish. This event is truly just beyond tradition. It has become an event where lasting memories are created.
