Todd County 4-H had some exciting events last week, including a shooting competition and horse club collaboration.
The Todd County 4-H Shoot took place at the Todd County Gun Club last weekend. Over 200 students from across the Commonwealth traveled to Todd County to compete in trap, rifle, pistol and archery. This was the first home shoot for Todd County 4-H, and the club totaled 17 wins in the gun segment and 18 in archery.
The Todd County and Logan County 4-H Horse Clubs also joined together earlier this week for a horse camp with Melmsgard Equine, run by the Pitts family. Students had the opportunity to ride horses and learn drill team exercises, barrel racing, and basic riding skills in indoor and outdoor arenas.
