Todd County 4-H Enters Start of Busy Summer

With the start of summer, Todd County 4-H enters its busiest time of year.

4-H Agent Lee Ann McCuiston says summer begins with the 4-H Teen Conference at the University of Kentucky.

click to download audioThe students will go through four packed days of leadership, educational workshops, game nights, dances and a day of service in Lexington. One of the highlights is electing the Commonwealth’s new 4-H state officer team.

June 11, 4-H partners with Todd County’s migrant program to take youth out for a day of fishing.

click to download audioAdditionally. The 4-H Horse Club is hosting a “fun show” June 13 at the extension office’s arena. Todd Countians and youth from surrounding counties are invited to join and take part.
