
The Todd County Central High School Class of 2026 was celebrated Sunday afternoon during the annual Baccalaureate service held in the school auditorium and sponsored by the Laity and Ministers Alliance of Todd County.
Student Council President Addison Woodall served as master of ceremonies for the event, which brought together graduating seniors, families, school officials, and local clergy for an evening of reflection, encouragement, and faith.
Senior Class President Omar Figueroa Navarrete welcomed those in attendance and delivered the invocation. During his remarks, Navarrete and Woodall paid tribute to classmate Landry Basham, who passed away before graduation. Navarrete also led the audience in a moment of silence in memory of Horizons Academy Principal Bryan Morrison, who recently passed away.
Emma King and Aleycia Osborne presented musical selections.
Senior Class Secretary Jaylyn Mayes and Treasurer Meredith Hampton read scripture passages that were used by the pastors who addressed the graduates. Senior Class Reporter Hannah Meacham shared a poem written for the occasion.
Three area pastors delivered messages to the graduating class after being introduced by members of the senior class. Landon Haley introduced his father, Andy Haley, pastor of Pembroke Baptist Church. Cheyenne Brown introduced her father, Bradley Brown, pastor of Richardson Chapel General Baptist Church. Jeremy Markham introduced his grandfather, Gary Chapman, pastor of Stokes Chapel Church.
The service concluded with the benediction led by Senior Class Vice President Ally Clardy.
