The National Weather Service in Paducah says there is an elevated risk of fires across western Kentucky on Sunday.
Most of the area is in a bad drought, and the grass and leaves are so dry that they can catch fire very easily. Forecasters expect humidity to stay low and winds to blow at around 15 miles per hour. This means that if a fire starts, the wind could push it along very quickly.
Because of the danger, officials say you should not burn anything outside this Sunday.
