On this past Saturday, the Todd Central FFA chapter hosted their second annual Agricultural Safety Day, funded by the Raising Hope program.
The event was entirely organized by students who worked hard to ensure everything ran smoothly so guests could fully enjoy their time and be educated.
Attendees were provided with a complimentary breakfast catered by Billy Goat Hill. In addition to breakfast, free goodie buckets were given out, filled with useful items for farm use.
Several guest speakers led safety lessons, including representatives from Pennyrile Electric and Todd County Grain Rescue.
Bouncy houses and a petting zoo with baby goats were also there, making it an enjoyable experience for people of all ages.
All in all, the second annual Agricultural Safety Day was a success. A large crowd attended, enjoying a fun and educational event focused on important agricultural safety practices. The Todd Central FFA chapter put in a great deal of effort to make this event happen and hopes to continue growing it in the future.
