The TCCHS Band is raising money to hold an event in honor of a late TCCHS graduate and Kentucky band director.
North Hardin High School’s Band Director Kelsey Dunn was only 28 years old when she passed away two years ago. A musician and educator, she was a member of the TCCHS band when she was a student there. Throughout her life, she was also a percussion instructor at Murray High School and guest clinician at band camps across the Commonwealth.
TCCHS plans to host the Kelsey Dunn Memorial Solo and Ensemble Festival and Competition on Saturday, May 2, an event designed to give Todd County students the opportunity to showcase their musicianship and receive feedback from experienced judges.
The TCCHS band is seeking donations to make the event possible.
