Last year, Kentucky farmers donated almost $1 million across the state to the 2025 “Ag Tag” program, a new record and the largest single-year total in the program’s history.
Now, the time of year has come again for vehicle owners to renew their “ag tag” licenses. When buying or renewing their farm vehicle licenses, individuals have the opportunity to donate $10 toward the “ag tag” fund. This fund is split evenly among Kentucky 4-H, Kentucky FFA and the Kentucky Department of Agriculture, and splits further to local councils and chapters, paying for camp scholarships, travel to leadership events and other needs.
Last year, Todd County 4-H received over $1,200 from voluntary farm tag donations. Those who donate are also invited to pick up a complimentary 2026 4-H Farm Calendar at the Todd County Extension Office, featuring the county’s various 4-H clubs and farm families.
