The City of Elkton has applied for a grant to improve traffic flow on the town’s square.
Mayor Arthur Green told Your WEKT News Edge that a decision on the $300,000 Transportation Alternative Program grant is expected soon.
Green said, if approved, the grant would cover the costs of fixing the crosswalks and improving lighting.
Mayor Green said these improvements should help with the growing traffic that the square has experienced in recent years.
