In celebration of National Ag Week, we are proud to shine a spotlight on another Todd County native farmer – Don Laster.
Laster is a dedicated beef farmer at his operation, Laster Farms LLC, where he raises cattle and works hard every day to keep his farm running. In addition to managing his farm, he also serves as the President of the Todd County Cattlemen’s Association and is involved in several local boards, including the Todd County Conservation District.
He has been farming his entire life and was born and raised right here in Todd County. His lifelong commitment to agriculture shows through his leadership and service to the community. Laster shared that farming takes a lot of hard work and dedication, but in the end, it is all worth it. He takes great pride in what he does and in being able to provide for and support his community.
Farmers like Laster play a vital role in our everyday lives, even if we don’t always realize it. This National Ag Week, we thank him and all farmers for their hard work, dedication, and the important impact they have on our community.
