To celebrate National Ag Week, we are highlighting one of our local farmers – Elijah Bell.
Bell works for the United States Department of Agriculture, specifically with the Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS), as a soil conservationist. In this role, he helps protect and improve soil so it stays healthy and can be used for farming and the environment. Along with his work at NRCS, Bell also spends time working on his family farm.
He is a Todd Central alumnus who has been involved in agriculture from a very young age. He says he is motivated every day to get up and help farmers improve their soil quality and get the best use out of their land.
His dedication shows the importance of agriculture in our community and highlights how caring for the land today helps ensure a better future for generations to come.
