Todd County Junior Homemakers will hold a special tea party Thursday, March 19.
The tea party is the final part of the junior homemakers series that began September of last year, says Extension Agent Jill Harris, where students have been learning basic skills in Family and Consumer Sciences – namely, table manners and table settings.
The party is for fourth grade through high school students. There will be two sessions, one at 9 a.m. on Thursday and another after school at 3:30 p.m. Both will be held at the Todd County Extension Office at 240 Pond River Road in Elkton.
Students who have not previously attended any junior homemakers sessions should sign up by calling the extension office at 270-265-5659.
