Mrs. Diane Groves Francis, age 74 of Clifty, KY, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2026, 12:51 p.m. in Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Services will be on Friday, March 13, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY, with Rev. Neil Immel and Rev. Don Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in the Heltsley Cemetery in Clifty, KY. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Latham Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral at 1:00 p.m.
Mrs. Diane was born in Hopkinsville, KY, on March 19, 1951. She was a retired Licensed Cosmetologist. She was a member of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Clifty, KY. Mrs. Diane loved to cook and take care of everybody; she was a mother to many. She is preceded in death by her parents, Blannie and Dorothy Groves, her daughter, Leslie Cunningham, and her sister, Rebecca Jones.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Randell Francis of Clifty; her daughters, Ginger McKinney and her husband, Jerry, of Clifty; Dorothy Elgin and her husband, Alan, of Clifty; Randa Gibson of Clifty; her son-in-law, Shane Cunningham; and her brother, Lanny Groves, and his wife, Darlene, of Clifty. Her grandchildren Brittany McKinney, Kayla Strader, Madi McKinney, Kristen Yates, Mason Cunningham, Matthew Cunningham, Adaleigh Elgin, Blake Elgin, Colton Elgin, Bronson Gibson and Braxton Gibson, her great grandchildren Charlotte Strader, Emberlynn Cunningham, Halen Cunningham, and Raylen Yates.
