Funeral Services for 84-year-old Kenneth O'Neal Hightower of Middleburg, Florida, formerly of Todd County will be at 12 Noon Friday, February 27, at Latham Funeral Home with Rev. Fred Harrison officiating.
Burial will be in the France Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Friday from 10:30 a.m. until time for the service at Latham Funeral Home.
Kenneth Oneal Hightower, Sr., age 84 of Middleburg, Florida and formerly of Todd Co., passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on Saturday, February 7 in Dade City, Florida.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents Perlus Hightower and Gillie Mitchell Hightower; his wife, Vickie Hightower; a sister, Ethel Mae Poe and niece, Cynthia Latham.
Kenneth is survived by his sons Kenneth O. Hightower, Jr. (wife Marji) and Steven Hightower; Granddaughters, Melinda Hightower and Amber Dwyer (husband Bodie); Great grandchildren, Seth Stamps, Madilyn Napolitano, Baylee White, Zoee Napolitano and Kodie Dwyer. He is also survived by nieces Gloria Logan and Phyllis Blake.
Also survived by his special friend and travel companion, Bess Rager of Elkton. Kenneth and Bess traveled with their Pastor and his wife and their friends all over the United States. They took numerous cruises through the Caribbean and to Hawaii.
Kenneth divided his time between Elkton, Kentucky where he was born and raised and Middleburg, Florida close to his son Kenny and his family.
Kenneth was a quiet man who loved his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all.
