A private burial will be held at a later date for 88-year-old Edward Hollingsworth of Clarksville and formerly of Todd County.
The Cook-Webb Funeral Home in Guthrie is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Edward Hollingsworth passed away on Saturday, February 7th, at the Dogwood Bend Assisted Living in Clarksville, Tennessee.
Edward was born on February 3, 1938, in Todd County, Kentucky, the son of the late Jason Lewis Hollingsworth and Lottie Harper Hollingsworth.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Clarksville and retired from Trane. He loved his family, friends, and traveling.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, J.L. Hollingsworth, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Hollingsworth of Clarksville; a son, Michael Hollingsworth of Big Rock, Tennessee; four daughters, Carolyn Aaron (Paul) of Brandenburg, Kentucky, Leah Gaither (Dwayne) of Clarksville, Susan Morrison (Danny) of Clarksville, and Janet Hudson (Lee) of Clarksville; ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
