Longtime public servant James M. “Jimmy” Groves passed away Thursday at the age of 91.
A staple of Todd County leadership, Mr. Groves served six terms as Todd County Circuit Court Clerk and was a dedicated member of the Elkton Bank and Trust Board for over 40 years. A U.S. Army veteran and Transylvania University alumnus, he was deeply involved in local affairs, serving as President of the Rotary Club, Jaycees, and the City-County Park Board.
